Sony: Xperia Z4 tablet is more than just a consumption device, showcases Bluetooth keyboard in new video

Sony marches on with the Xperia line, beautifully built, nicely appointed, and among the nicer Android powered devices on the market. Nowhere is this more evident than with Sony’s Xperia tablets.

From the Xperia Tablet Z, released in 2013, to the Xperia Z2 Tablet a year later, and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact late last year, all of Sony’s slates have earned high marks in our reviews. Based on the look we got to take of the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet at MWC 2015 a couple weeks ago, Sony has not messed with the formula too much, and that is a good thing.

The new Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet, it is a bit lighter, a bit leaner, and still built to resist dust and water. That is a nice accomplishment considering that its predecessor was not overly fat considering the build materials involved. Now, Sony fans have an even sharper 2560x1600 resolution 10.1-inch screen to look forward to and enjoy.

Given Sony’s other lines of business, media consumption and entertainment is a no-brainer for the Xperia Z4 Tablet. However, Sony wants everyone to know this more than just a play-thing. Paired with its Bluetooth keyboard, the Xperia Z4 Tablet puts the Android app ecosystem to good use, including all the productivity apps we use every day.

The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet is available for pre-order in parts of Europe, and is expected to land on shelves this summer.
