More Voice Power For Apps On Ford Cars At MWC 2015

At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, the US auto major Ford On March 4 announced six new apps for its customers in Europe and Asia Pacific regions. Using Ford SYNC with AppLink technology, the customers will be able to voice-activate these apps, and stay connected even while they are driving down the lanes.

"Across the world AppLink helps customers integrate their devices and the apps they know and love into their car," said, Don Butler, Connected Vehicle and Services, Ford Motor Company.

In Europe, available apps will now include latest football scores and news from Goal.com, which is the largest football website in the world. This is how the subscribers will enjoy real-time football updates from 750 leagues worldwide.

"These new apps ensure drivers won't have to wait to know when their team scores," said Butler.

Beside this, Ford has also announced that the drivers can easily access music and radio shows while keeping their eyes on the road and their hands on the wheel, added Butler. For China, Kaola FM will offers access to more than 1 million hours of copyrighted audio; and Xiami Music will provide a library of more than 4 million songs. For Australia, Fairfax Radio will deliver news, talk and sport highlights to Ford customers.

The newly announced apps will impart a wonderful experience to the Ford riders.
