Apple allowing developers to adjust their apps to fit the Apple Watch

Apple allowing developers to adjust their apps to fit the Apple Watch

According to a report published on Friday, Apple is allowing some developers and companies to test their apps on the Apple Watch and make adjustments to them prior to the launch of the wearable device. The tests have taken place at Apple's HQ in Cupertino and some of the companies involved include BMW, Facebook and United Continental Holdings.

According to an unnamed source who was present for some of the testing, Apple goes out of its way to keep things secret, especially when it has non-Apple personnel in contact with a device that has yet to launch. The rooms had absolutely no internet connection and outside materials were not allowed in.

While Apple CEO Tim Cook has said that the Apple Watch won't be released before April, a media event is scheduled for Monday that will apparently focus on Apple's new timepiece. We should learn the answer to some unanswered questions such as the pricing for the mid-range and high-end models, actual battery life, and an official launch date.
